My Everyday Makeup

Okay, so as much as I would love to sport a sunset eye look to the university library, it isn't quite practical. So here's a few products I use Monday - Thursday. (Maybe Friday's if I'm being boring and staying in).

This is my absolute favourite drugstore foundation (i don't like to wear my Nars sheer glow on a daily basis, on a budget n'all). At £9.99 (on sale for £7.95 on feeluniquie.com) you really can't complain, especially with the amazing coverage it gives. Matte foundations really aren't my thing, i love a dewy look without looking like you could fry an egg on my face and this Maybelline 24 Hour Superstay just seems to do it for me. I can spend numerous hours in the library and come out looking like I just went in! I wear shade 36 - Warm Sun, this is perfect as I love yellowy undertones, and is the right shade for me when I have fake tanned (which is all the time). Holly Boon also wears this so why shouldn't you?

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT -
This Revolution Conceal & Define concealer is £4 !!!!!
I usually use the Urban Decay naked skin or Mac Pro Longwear concealer. However, when I ran out, I thought why not try this. It is so good I cannot believe the price. I wear shade C4 which is a tiny bit pink for me but unfortunately it was all sold out in the shades I wanted, but it still doesn't look bad! The only downside is that it really doesn't last long if you're a concealer fiend like me but with such a low price point I don't think complaining is an option.

Okay, now onto my favourite thing in the WHOLE entire world (on parr with pepperoni pizza, and if you know me, that's a big deal). HIGHLIGHTER. My most recent holy grail product is the Colourpop Super Shock Cheek Highlighter in 'Flexitarian'. Coming in at $8 dollars that makes it a ridiculous £5.78 !!!! I did unfortunately have to wait a week and a half for this to arrive, with a bill of £17 custom charges waiting for me at the post office. So if that doesn't sound like the thing for you my second most favourite highlighter is the Mac Pigment pot in shade 'Vanilla'. At £16 it still isn't going to break the bank. Just remember always spray your brush with a little fix+ from Mac or any setting spray and it will make your highlight pop like you've never seen before.

Bronzers that make you look like you've just stepped in from a day on the beach are what I live for. 'Give Me Sun' Mac Mineralize Skinfinish gives me exactly that! It also lasts so long! I got mine of Christmas 2016 and it's still going strong. This bronzer to some may appear quite orangey and maybe too tan, so if you're not into that and prefer the cool undertones there are many other shades to choose from, or I would recommend the Hoola Bronzer by Benefit which is perfect for contouring and achieving that chiseled look.

I must admit, I've never really been into blushes, but this Fenty Beauty Match Stix Shimmer Skinstick in the shade 'Yacht Lyfe' has completely converted me. I LOVE peachy blushes that give me a bit of colour but not too much. And, just to make it even better, it has a slight shimmer in it.

I never really jumped onto the Anastasia Beverley Hills Brow Pomade Band Wagon, I've been using this Mac Fluidline Brow Gelcreme in shade "deep dark brunette', for as long as I can remember and I don't see myself changing anytime soon. As someone with an oily skin type having a product that prevents your brows from sliding down your face is essential, as this is the one. And, just to add to the many advantages, one tiny pot at £17.50 lasts so long.

And FINALLY, gloss. Do people wear a matte lip these days? This lipgloss has changed my life. Especially as it's now ridiculously cold in Lancaster and chapped lips are inevitable. This Rimmel 'Oh My Gloss!' in shade 'Crystal Clear' has argan oil in it so it doubles as a lip balm as well, it's so moisturising. I've always been so self conscious about my pencil lips and recently I took the plunge and decided to get lip fillers by the amazing Bryony Cupitt. This lip gloss just makes them look so plump all the time. If you take anything from this blog, take this ... get this lipgloss.
