My Experience with Lip Fillers

Lip fillers was something that I had been indecisive about for as long as I can remember. As someone who is so into doing different makeup looks, wearing different and bright lip colours was just not an option for pencil lips over here. The main thing that was putting me off the most was the stigma surrounding lip fillers and the worry of looking like a 'duck face'. Every time I mentioned to people that I may get lip fillers, their facial expressions were just enough to show me what they thought about that. For so long I let what other people think, be the decider of where I got lip fillers, when that really should not have been the case.

My lips were so thin which I inherited from my mum (thanks mum) so any form of filler was going to be obvious and i was prepared for that, although to this day, my dad still hasn't noticed.

There's SO many people that do lip fillers now so it can be hard to find the one right for you. My mum did all the searching for me as it was a christmas present, and she found that Bryony Cupitt Aesthetics was the best fit for me (mums always know best). Bryony was so quick to reply despite being in the new year and even managed to fit me before I headed back to uni. I'm not going to lie, i was so nervous as my pain threshold is non-existent. When I got there, Bryony was so comforting and listened to exactly what I wanted and I knew from the word go that I was in the right hands. It did hurt (I'm a baby) but it was bearable so if you're thinking of lip fillers and pain is what is putting you off - don't let it, it's over so soon. After, Bryony provided me with aftercare including what to do in the days after, and also a cream and lip balm to keep them moisturised as they will get dry.

This picture was the same day that I got them done, as you can see there is some bruising but thats because I bruise like a peach - seriously. I really couldn't be happier with my decision to get them and it really has boosted my confidence. There's only so much lip overlining you can do before you look like you've stepped off the stage of Funny Girls.

If you're considering lip fillers I really couldn't recommend Bryony Cupitt Aesthetics enough, and to make her even better, she's just started her own website which I'll attach. Don't let what anyone else thinks stop you from doing what you want!
